THE FOUR sister wives – Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn – share a big family with the father of their children, Kody Brown.
The bustling family has well more than a dozen kids who have all been featured on the hit television show.
Who are the sister wives?
The sister wives include Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown. Kody is the father to all their children.
The women, however, are the focus of the TLC reality show, Sister Wives.
Janelle and Kody were spiritually married for 27 years before separating in December 2021.
Meri and Kody tied the knot in April 1990 but got legally divorced in 2014, despite still being spiritually married. However, the pair decided to “permanently terminate” their marriage in January 2023.
In 1994, Christine and Kody married, and she became his third spiritual wife. She was the first wife to leave her plural marriage to Kody in November 2021.
Robyn and Cody spiritually married in 2010. However, the couple legally married in 2014 so he could legally adopt her three children from her previous marriage.
How many kids do they have?
In all, the Sister Wives have a total of 18 children.
Meri and Kody share one child together, Leon – previously known as Mariah – who came out as transgender in June 2022 via a social media post.
Robyn has three children from her previous marriage – Dayton, Aurora Alice, and Breanna Rose Preston.
They then welcomed two of their children, Solomon and Ariella.
Kody and Christine have six children, including Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Ysabel, Gwendlyn, and Truely.
Janelle and Kody had welcomed children together – Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savanah Brown.
As TMZ reported, Garrison tragically passed away from an apparent suicide on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 25.
Per the outlet, he died in Flagstaff, Arizona, where he had his own home.
Flagstaff police told TMZ that officers responded to Garrison’s home on the morning of March 5 on a report of a death.
Upon arrival, they found Garrison dead at the scene, and he appeared to have sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“We’re told no foul play is suspected, and for now … police are looking into this as an apparent suicide,” the outlet continued.
Police also said that Garrison’s brother Gabriel arrived at the home and found him at the scene.
“No word on whether a note was left behind … we’re told an investigation is underway,” TMZ continued.
Janelle and Kody have spoken out following their son’s tragic death.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory,” the grieving mother wrote in an Instagram post on March 5.
Kody shared the same photos and words on his Instagram account, @kodywinnbrown.
A source close to Janelle the Brown family exclusively spoke to The U.S. Sun about how Janelle is feeling following the tragic loss.
“I’ve never heard her so angry and numb. She’s not processed [it] clearly,” the source said of Janelle.
“She’s definitely not processed this at all. She doesn’t even know which end’s up,” the source continued.
“She’s very angry right now… She’s not a crier or an emotional person.
“Takes a lot to get her to break. So I think right now she’s going to go, like, ‘What the heck happened? What did I do wrong?'”
“This family is extremely broken and tortured, and it’s very painful for many of them,” the insider continued.
The source also claimed that Kody’s wife Robyn is “the one who’s actually really upset about it.”
The source added that Robyn is “really devastated.”
What is Kody Brown’s secret side job?
In early April 2022, a Reddit user shared a post they found on Facebook that revealed Kody’s gig.
The family patriarch was spotted and photographed seemingly selling guns and ammo.
He has not specifically stated what he does, although he once implied during the show that he was into advertising and sales.
